CISNE, Ill. - Dan Rogers, 90, died at 9:13 a.m. Monday at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mount Vernon.
A retired teacher, he taught school for 60 years.
He was a member of Rock Branch General Baptist Church, Anthony Doherty Masonic Lodge 1111 and Modern Woodmen of America.
He was a Boy Scout scoutmaster for 40 years and received the Scouting Good Shepherd Award.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, the former Edith Hilliard; two daughters, . . . ; a son, . . . ; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hosselton Funeral Home, with burial in Cisne Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
