Mrs. Taylor Arthur, of Lane, died at 8:30 o'clock Tuesday night in the John Warner hospital, where she was brought on Monday in hope of relief. She had been in bad health for some time, but had been seriously ill for one week. She was afflicted with cancer and other complications.
Mrs. Arthur had lived in Lane throughout practically all of her life. She is survived by her husband and six children all of whom are residents in or near Lane. The children are: Mrs. Lon Roberts, Mrs. Ernest Day, Edward, Thomas, James and Asa Arthur. Mrs. Arthur was sixty years of age. Her husband has been a blacksmith for many years in that town.
