Mary Lord, born at Lyme, Conn., about 1692, the fourth daughter of Lieut. Richard Lord and Elizabeth Hyde of Lyme, was a granddaughter of Samuel Hyde the first, and Jane Lee, of Norwich. She m. 20 Sept., 1716, Peter Pearson of Lyme (whose first wife was Lydia, and who d. 28 Feb., 1716, and by whom he had three children).
By his second wife, Mary Lord, his children were:
1. Richard, b. 9 Dec, 1717, at Lyme, m. Mary Ann Ely.+
2. Hephzibah, b. 1 May, 1719, at Lyme, m. Elijah Peck.+
3. Tabitha, b. 6 May, 1721, at Lyme. She m. 16 May, 1739, Jedediah Peck, b. 1 June, 1717, at Lyme, fifth son of Samuel Peck of Lyme by his first wife, Elizabeth Lee.
4. Peter, b. 29 March, 1724, at Lyme.
5. Mary, b. 22 Aug., 1726, at Lyme, m. Richard Ely.
6. Irene, b. 24 May, 1732, at Lyme, m. Benjamin Mather.
