Mrs. Lucinda Wilson Dies in Home of Daughter Saturday Afternoon
Mrs. Lucinda Wilson of this city, died at 5:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Abbott, two miles east, of Waynesville. Mrs. Wilson had gone to Waynesville several weeks ago to visit her daughter and a few days ago suffered a stroke of paralysis.
Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Cisco and was born near Wapella, May 7, 1841, being in 88th year at the time of her death. She was married to Samuel Wilson, who died a number of years ago. She resided near Wapella until a few years ago, when she moved to Clinton to reside with her son.
She was a member of the Christian church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mollie Halsey, of South Dakota; Mrs. Mrs. Cecil Arthur of Lane; Mrs. William Abbott of near Waynesville and one son, Samuel, of Clinton. Two brothers also survive. They are Ira and Amos Cisco of Waynesville.
The funeral services were held this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at Rock Creek church, four miles east of Waynesville conducted by Rev. Mr. Miller. Interment was in Rock Creek cemetery.
