ALFONZO BURGIN SERVICE WEDNESDAY
Funeral services for Alfonzo Burgin, 75, were held Wednesday, Jan. 14 at 2 p.m. in Miami, Okla. at the First Assembly of God. Rev. Choats and Rev. Cissna conducted the service. Mr. Burgin died Monday morning at his home in Tulsa after an illness of six months.
He was born in Buchanan County, Mo. A retired farmer he farmed at Big Cabin about 50 years, retiring in 1951. He attended the Home Gardens Assembly of God and was a member of the Bible Class. He was a past member of the Masons.
He is survived by his wife Frances; one brother, Alonzo Burgin of Miami; and one sister, Mrs. Mae Chapman of Frederick; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Burgin was the stepfather of Jewel Pope of Collinsville.
Burial was in Ottawa Indian Cemetery at Miami, under direction of the Collinsville Funeral Home.
