Born and raised in Watsonville, Bernadette attended Moreland Notre Dame School before becoming a devoted homemaker who loved her family dearly.
Bernadette was preceded in death by her parents Nellie and William DeWorken, Sr., and brothers David and William DeWorken, Jr.
She is survived by her children Rhiannon Faurie and Aaron Faurie and sister Dorothy Knauss. Bernadette also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and family scattered all around the world, including her tribe of the Grateful Dead community.
A graveside service will be held at Watsonville Catholic Cemetery on Friday, Sept 2nd, at 11 a.m. Mehl's Colonial Chapel was entrusted with cremation arrangements.
