Mr. Meek served in the capacity of state probation and parole officer for this area. He died yesterday in a Monroe hospital.
Officiating at this morning's services will be the Rev. Don Wineinger. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Hixson Brothers.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Dessa M. Meek, West Monroe; a son, Paul W. Meek, McAllen, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Stuart Moberly, Tallulah; two brothers, Joe Meek, Little Rock, Ark. and Roy Meek, San Francisco, Calif. and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be A. C. Lewis, D. W. Chennault, F. G. Kelley, H. Lancaster, O. G. Wyatt, J. B. Hinton, Jr., C. P. Landry and Walter C. Bentrup.
