Committal service will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Pineville under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Alexandria.
Kathy, 57, of Alexandria passed from this life into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. She was born April 13, 1959 in Alexandria to her loving parents, Kenneth Warren George and Wanda Elaine (Roberts) George.
She graduated from Tioga High School and she was a Catholic by Faith. Kathy had a passion for cooking and made the absolute best Chicken Spaghetti. She shared her delicious cooking with the children at J.I. Barron, where she worked for many years in the school cafeteria.
She is preceded in death by her parents; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Zula George; maternal grandparents, DeWitt Talmadge Roberts and Mary Eleanor (Campbell) Roberts; and aunt, Billie Jo Lamaze.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are: daughter, Holly Elaine White and husband, Daniel of Carthage, Mississippi; brother, Kenneth George, Jr. of Possum Point; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Chapel of White Oaks – Alexandria, Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 8 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. in the chapel.
