Bamberg - James Robert Bradley, 89, a retired general insurance agent, died Thursday in Bamberg. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Bamberg County Memory Gardens. Burial will be directed by Cooner Funeral Home. Mr. Bradley was born in Barnwell County, a son of James L. Bradley and Bessie A. Fitts Bradley. He served as treasurer of the War Fund five in Bamberg County, and on the board of trustees with School District 1. He was a member and served as chairman with Bamberg County Memorial Hospital Board and was a member of the commission to move the Bamberg County Courthouse. He was a past worshipful master and grand master with Ornan Masonic Lodge and served as treasurer with the Barnwell Baptist Association.
