She was the sixth child of Abraham/Abram Gallentine/Gallenton. She married Andrew Jackson Stringer in Bureau Co, IL, 12 Dec 1860. She and Andrew had seven children: Thomas Donnelson (Rose Smith Earley); James Elmer (Minnie Woolridge); Minnie May (Joseph Vinchattle); Eva Elizabeth (Peter Hanson); William (Mattie Murray); Franklin Edis (Myrtle Sigman); and Margaret Bell (George S Osborne).
