Age 94, of El Dorado AR, died Wednesday; born in Calion AR to Norphlet T Goodwin and Lulu Mae Kiger Goodwin; earned a DVM degree from Auburn University in 1945; US ARMY WWII veteran, having served as Captain in the Veterinary Medical Corp; married Ruth Williams March 21 1947; built the first veterinary hospital in El Dorado, where he practiced large and small medicine for thirty seven years; member of St Paul United Methodist Church.
Predeceased by parents, wife of sixty five years, brothers Thomas, Keith, Edward, Maynard, and Richard Goodwin, and grandchild Wendy Manis.
Survivors include a son, three daughters, twelve grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, and a sister.
