In 1987, she married Albert Winsor, the new dance partner she met at the Senior Center. They spent many wonderful hours dancing, traveling, playing pinochle, and enjoying life with family and friends. In 1993 she sold the family farm and they moved to Al's home in Goshen. Al passed away August 14, 2001.
Her love of music and the piano brought her much happiness throughout her life. She spent many hours playing for dances and sharing her talents with others. Dale created beautiful quilts for her Kids and Grandkids and made wonderful Rolls and Cinnamon Rolls. We miss those calls to pick up our pan to take home. She was known for her taco parties, especially the family Christmas parties complete with Santa bringing goodies for the children, and singing around the piano. She loved and cared deeply for her family, spending countless hours with Grandchildren, and making time to pass down her many skills.
She served on the Board of Directors for the Shelley Senior Citizens Center, served as President, was a past officer of AARPS, and spent many hours as a Volunteer.
She is survived by her children, Claude Mecham (Linda), Gene Mecham (Sharon), and Dixie Mecham Finck (Max), all of the Firth area; 8 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren, and 24 Great, Great Grandchildren. Stepchildren: Jerry-Anne Hoyt, Kansas, Kathy Garner, (Dale), Idaho Falls, and Rebecca Anderson, Salmon; 7 Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Grandchildren.
