Winston-Salem 03/08/1929 - 03/10/2016 Mary Lib Hutcherson Murphy, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016, two days after her 87th birthday anniversary at Brookridge HealthCare Center. She was born in Stokes County to Rufus Bruce and Rosa Carroll Hutcherson and was the sister of six older brothers. Mary was a retired nurse. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ralph Charles Murphy; two daughters, Janet Murray and spouse Len, Charlotte Carter and spouse Audi, the late Sharon Fanelli and spouse Chris, grandchild Lauren Carter and the late Robert Carter. A number of step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Celebration Of Life service will be held Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Ardmore Baptist Church, 501 Miller Street, Winston-Salem, 27103. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 5:00 p.m. at the church.
