He was born May 21, 1935 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to Wesley William Miller and Dorothy Eliza Hanner Miller.
He was a US Army veteran and was a Chaplain for the VA Hospital conducting 191 funeral services for the VFW and American Legion. He loved fishing, playing cards, bingo, being with his family and was an automotive enthusiast.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Joan Miller; three sons, Donnie and Danny Miller and John Grant; two sisters, Barbara Smith, Darlene Flores; four brother-in-laws, Raymond Sorensen, Duane Smith, Brian Kerr and James Young.
Survivors are three daughters, Donna Ludlow (Steve) of Rogers, Mary Grant-Young (Chuck) of Simi Valley, CA., Barbara Van Laar (Mike) of Simi Valley, CA. a brother, Walter Miller of Rogers; two sisters, Diane Young of Pea Ridge, Sharon Kerr of Rogers; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are set for 2:30 P.M. Friday, October 14 at Bentonville City Cemetery with Chaplain Mike Ford officiating. No visitation.
