A funeral will begin at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel for Keith Brown, who died of cancer Sunday, April 7, 2002, in Vancouver. He was 73. Mr. Brown was a truck driver for P.I.E. for 35 years. He was born May 26, 1928, in Saffordville, Kan., and lived in Vancouver since 1978.
Mr. Brown was an Army veteran and a member of the American Legion and the Teamsters Union, Local 150, in Sacramento, Calif. He loved golfing and enjoyed traveling in his travel trailer.
His wife, Dorothy E., died in 1991.
Survivors include one daughter, Diana Heard of Salt Lake City; one son, James "Jim" H. Brown of Vancouver; and five grandchildren.
Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The casket will be open from 5 to 9 tonight and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
