FRED W. BECKER DIES AT AGE OF 72
Fred W. Becker, 72, of 25 Bent avenue, died at Mercy hospital Thursday evening about 10:30 o'clock.
A retired laborer, Mr. Becker was born Oct. 15, 1871, at Seymour, Wis., and moved to the town of Clayton in 1882. In 1913 he married Cora Grundy and lived in Oshkosh and vicinity since that time.
Surviving are his wife; two brothers, Edward Becker, Oshkosh, and Charles, town of Clayton; a sister, Mrs. Melia Fraser, Menasha, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Fiss & Bills funeral home. The Rev. James A. Daum will officiate. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial park. Friends may view the remains at the funeral home Sunday evening and up to the time of the services.
