ROCKDALE — Services for Jim Scott, 77, of Rockdale will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Milam County Cowboy Church in Rockdale with the Rev. Greg Spears officiating.
The body will be cremated.
Mr. Scott died Sunday, Oct. 9, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 5, 1939, in Somerville to Kenneth and Lydia Strangmier Scott. He worked 25 years at Alcoa as a machinist, retiring in 1995.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Scott of Rockdale; two sons, James Scott and Todd Scott, both of Rockdale; three daughters, Robin Story, Diana Perry and Candace Pelzel, all of Rockdale; a brother, Bubba Scott of Somerville; three sisters, Mary Brock, Gail Connor and Dottie Rhodes, all of Somerville; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
