Daughter of Percy Douglass 1796–1869 and Catherine "Kate" Cox 1811–1891. Lived in Hollidaysburg and Altoona in Blair County, Pennsylvania before moving to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in about 1896. She had five children: William D Burley 1864–1917, Theodore Henry Burleigh 1866–1942, Ellen Burley 1868–1870, John Percy Burley 1872–?, and Catherine Belle "Katie" Burley 1874–?. She died in the State Hospital in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
