She was born Dec. 25, 1906, in Alma Center, to Louis and Mary (Hanson) Ripp. She married Thomas E. Barry and they farmed in the Sparta and Tomah areas until moving to Tomah 12 years ago. Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Vivian Meicher of Mono- na; four grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Bernards of Waunakee, Frances Bush of Withee and Regina Ackerman of Madison; and two brothers, Martin Ripp of Waunakee and Herman Ripp of Sparta.
Services will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tomah. The Rev. Dan Kolowsky will officiate and burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Sparta. Friends may call at White Funeral Home, Tomah, Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a rosary at 4 p.m. Friends also may call at the funeral home Monday from 9 to 11:15 a.m.
