He was a retired employee of United Catalyst, an Army veteran of World War II, an honorary member of Knights of Columbus Monsignor Newman Council #4665 and a member of St. Clement's Friendship Club and Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, his daughter, two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, 10801 Deering Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. both Sunday and Monday.
