Paper from Minor's Civil War pension file. Vet of the USN, enlisting on December 23, 1861, and honorably discharged on October 26, 1865, having served as surgeon's steward and acting assistant surgeon on USS Sumpter, Montauk and New Hampshire.

Paper from pension file, mentioning POW for 5 months in Georgia, and service at hospital in Bay Point, South Carolina, as acting assistant surgeon. Also mentions service under Commander Worden (of USS Monitor fame) and Admiral Dahlgren in SABS.
