The funeral of Mr. Fred Lewis,who died on Sunday, April 13th, was held Tuesday afternoon from the State Road M. E. church. Mr. Lewis had been a patient sufferer for many months with tuberculosis. He is survived by a sister, Miss Kate Lewis and one brother, Jacob Lewis of Knox. Mr. Lewis was in his 67th year.
