Mrs. Matthias Golder.
Mrs. Barbara Marshall Golder, age 73 wife of Matthais Golder, died at the family residence, 17 Round street, Sunday, March 29, 1931 at 7 p.m. following an illness due to complications. Mrs. Wilder was known in a wide circle of friends by whom she was held in highest esteem.
Mrs. Golder was born in England, April 3, 1853 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Cook. She had been a resident of the city for many years,
She was a member of the Wesley M. E. church. She leaves her husband and the following daughters: Mrs. D. T. Andrews; Mrs. Thomas A. Baird; Mrs. H. B. McConnell; Mrs. Charles R. Gardner and Mrs. A. L. Perkins, also one sister, Mrs. George Rennison of England, seventeen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and one nephew Harry Marshall.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 1, 1931 at 2 p.m. at the late residence, 17 Round street with Dr. G. S. Bennett and Rev. Wilbur Flannery in charge. Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery.

James Marshall died Sunday morning at his home on Washington street. He was born in Scotland in 1847, and for a time resided in England. Thirteen years ago he came to New Castle, and has ever since resided here.
Mr. Marshall leaves a wife and five daughters to mourn his loss. The daughters are: Mrs. Thomas A. Baird and Misses Annie; Jennie; Barbara and Lizzie Marshall. He was a devoted Christian and bore his sufferings with exemplary patience. He was a kind and loving husband and father. Funeral services at 2:3o from the family residence, followed by interment at Greenwood cemetery.
