Randall A. Smith, 69, Rockford, died Thurs., Dec. 28, 1978, in SwedishAmerican Hospital after a long illness. Born May 17, 1909, in Mount Vernon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred M. Smith. Married to the former Hattie Bymaster in Rockford, Feb. 25, 1933. Employed as maintenance man by Weiman Furniture Co and Rockford School of Medicine, retiring there four years ago.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Norman and Randall R.; three daughters, Beverly Nunally, Margie Allen and Betty Rodgers; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Montie and Wayne; two sisters, Opal Cross and Jewell Johnson. Predeceased by a brother and a sister.
