Mr. Christopher David Apperson, 48, of Lee County, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Liberty Parkway Church of God. Rev. Allen Bingham and Rev. Dana Swain will officiate with interment to follow at Floral Memory Gardens.
Born February 11, 1968 in Albany, Chris was a talented carpenter who was a true perfectionist. He took great pride in his work and was a kind hearted man who would do anything he could to help others. He also enjoyed gardening. He attended Liberty Parkway Church of God and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon David Apperson.
Survivors include his children, Josh Moore of Atlanta and Brandon Christopher Apperson of Leesburg; his mother, Brenda Aumsbaugh and David of Lee County; grandmother, Dawn Aumsbaugh of Lee County; siblings, Angie Brooks and Mark of Americus, Gordon Apperson of Lee County, Donna Howard and Danny of South Carolina, David Aumsbaugh and Mary of Newton, Dennis Aumsbaugh and Tina of Lee County.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 Friday evening at Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home, 375 US Highway 19 S. Leesburg, GA. 31763.
