They had three sons: Henry Clifford (1878-1942), Chauncey H (1881-1881), and Bateman Rudolph (1882-1926). They separated and divorced. He married Mary Elizabeth Saffran on 18-Aug-1892 in Baltimore, Maryland. He made his living as a Lineman for the Telephone Company. He died on 3-Apr-1904 and was buried on 5-Apr-1904 in Loudon Park Cemetery.
