Lula Holemon
Funeral services for Lula W. Holemon, 98, of Heritage Health Care Center, who died Sunday at the center, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Camp Ground Methodist Church.
The Rev. George Jackson will officiate with burial in the church cemetery and Hayes Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include a daughter, Vista H. Hocutt, Northport; a son, Wade Holemon, Holt; five grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Billy Henry West, Cecil Holemon, Wayne Oswalt, Wilburn Holemon, Joe Holemon and Rayburn Oswalt.
She was a lifelong member of the Camp Ground Methodist Church, was a charter member of the Women's Missionary Society and was active in church and community life.
The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to service time.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at the funeral home.
