She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of which both her father and grandfather had served as pastors. She was the first president of the Townsend F. Dodd Post 344, American Legion Auxiliary and had been a member of the Stinson Memorial Library Board since 1940 and served for many years as a member of the Board of Union Academy.
She is survived by a daughter, three sons, two nephews for whom she served as guardian, three sisters, Mrs. Lella King, Miami, Fla.; Miss Sarah Faris, Duarte, Calif.; and Mrs. Agnes Agnew, Ogden; also seven grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
