Charles H. Wiley, son of Benjamin L. and Emily Davie Wiley, was born at Makanda, Ill., on March 16, 1866, and died at his home in Anna March 27, 1945. He was a graduate of the Union Academy at Anna, the family moving to Anna in 1884. He was married to Marion Faris of Pittsburgh, Pa., and continued to make his home in Anna until the time of his death.
During the past 52 years he was employed as a wholesale lumber salesman. Mr. Wiley was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Anna, where he has been an elder during the past 52 years.
Mr. Wiley is survived by his wife, a daughter, three sons, and a sister.
