Clinton “Red” Lee Myers

MYERS, Clinton “Red” Lee – Age 65, of Riddle, passed away Wednesday, August, 1997 in a local hospital. He was born March 26, 1932 in Council Grove, Kansas to Edward and Mildred (Marchin) Myers. In 1937 he moved to Long Beach, California and attended all schools there. Mr. Myers served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked 35 years for Atlantic Richfield in Southern California until his retirement in 1985. Mr Myers was active with the Sea Scouts in Long Beach for many years. He moved to the Riddle, area in 1989. Mr. Myers also enjoyed woodworking, making sail boats, camping and traveling. He was a volunteer for the STEP fish enhancement program. Survivors include his daughter, Donna J. Myers of Canyonville; son, Robert E. Myers and his wife Allyson of Riddle and three grandchildren. At his request there were no services held. Private cremation rites have been held. LONG & SHUKLE MEMORIAL CHAPEL were in charge of arrangements.
