Mr. Nathaniel Lowell Lynn, 91, of Union City died Oct. 2, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Mac Lynn officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Lynn, Joseph Lynn, Josh Jones, Chris Woodbridge, Jim Kelly and Jimmy Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be John Bell, Russell Lynn and Raiford Tarver.

He was born Feb. 15, 1925, in the former Gibbs community of Union City, son of the late Joseph and Annie (Jones) Lynn. He married the former Dorothy Simpson Feb. 17, 1946. She passed away May 23, 2016. He was a building contractor and cabinet maker for more than 50 years and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, having served in 1947 and 1948. He was a member of Church of Christ in Martin.

He is survived by his son and two daughters-in-law, Chris and Margaret Lynn of Union City and Wanda Lynn of Nashville; five grandchildren and their spouses, Nathan and Stephanie Lynn of Broomfield, Colo., Lauren and Josh Jones of Westminster, Colo., Meredith and Chris Woodbridge of Edmond, Okla., Joe Lynn of Nashville and Annie and Eric Schafer of Ann Arbor, Mich.; and three great-grandchildren, Lola Jane Jones, Bella Jones and Cash Jones, all of Westminster.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Trent Lynn; his sister, Nina Faye Laster; and three brothers, Heber Lynn, Chester Lynn and Lloyd Lynn.
