Betty Faye Cox, age 83, of Clinton passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at The Waters of Clinton.

Throughout her life she loved to play bingo, work crossword puzzles, and gather up the music for karaoke night at the Clinton Towers.

She was born April 22, 1933 in Anderson County to the late Sil and Vida Relford.

In addition to her parents Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Cox; 4 sisters and 1 brother.

She is survived by Daughters. Gail and husband Kyle Phillips Connie and husband Dudley Robbins Elizabeth and husband Joe Lilly Tina and husband Joe Boudreaux Son Herschel Jr. and wife Adriane Cox Grandchildren Crystal Smiddy, Johnny Salyers, Shaun Robbins, Amber Rhea, Daniel Phillips, Meredith Zirkle, and Mark Cox 12 Great Grand children Several nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home.

Betty's funeral service will follow her visitation in the chapel with Pastor Glenn Day officiating.

Her graveside will be 11:00 am, Monday at Jarnigan Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
