Loransie Dowell Coatney of Route 1 Rudy, Arkansas died Thursday at a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital at the age of 83. He was a retired carpenter.
He is survived by his wife; two sons; one daughter; one brother; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the 88 Community Church. Burial was at Morrison Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
