April 03, 1930 - September 25, 2016

Patricia Sue Dilley, age 86, of Glen Morgan, WV, passed away at the Villages at Greystone in Beaver, WV, on Sunday, September 25, 2016.

Born on April 3, 1930, at Glen Morgan, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Brown Dilley and Goldie Mae Bachus Dilley.

Miss Dilley was a graduate of Shady Spring High School in 1948, where she was active in the Drama Club. After high school, she began nurses training at Raleigh General School of Nursing, graduating in 1951. She began a career at Beckley Hospital, retiring as the Supervisor of the Operating Room. Miss Dilley retired in 1995 after 44 years of service.

Miss Dilley was a member of Perry Memorial United Methodist Church and had resided at Glen Morgan until 2013. She enjoyed golf and spending time with family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty June Dilley Brammer and her husband, Edsel Brammer, and Jean Ann Dilley Warden.

Survivors include one sister, Dr. Boots Dilley of Huntington, WV, nephew, Randall Brammer of Philadelphia, PA, niece, Pamela Sue Brammer Ford and her husband, Larry, of Shady Spring, nephew, Robert David Warden, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Palm Harbor, Florida, and a brother-in-law, Robert David Warden, Sr. of Palm Harbor, Florida.

Funeral services will be conducted at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at noon with Rev. Scott Mayberry officiating.

Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Perry Memorial United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 1264, Shady Spring, WV 25918, in memory of Miss Patricia Sue Dilley.
