SHREVEPORT, LA- Funeral services for Dovie Daniel Hudson Terry, 83, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2011 at Life Tabernacle Church. Officiating will be Rev. Eugene McBride and Rev. Steve Munds. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery in Haughton, LA. Visitation with the family will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home.
Dovie was born on June 8, 1928 in Emerson, AR to Walter and Corinne Daniel. She passed away on September 28, 2011 from a sudden illness. She was a resident of Shreveport and a homemaker. She was a member of Life Tabernacle Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and late husband, Rodney Owen Hudson. She is survived by her present husband, Marvin Terry; sons; Mike Hudson and wife, Susan, Walter Mark Hudson, David Paul Terry and wife, Mary; daughters, Kamie Hudson, Rebecca Sue Munds and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Michael Hudson, Tori and Brian Kelly, Kensi and Jeff Bieniek, Laci and Josh Bredahl; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy Hutto, Glenva Hines, Louis and Janie Daniel, Shelton and Mary Daniel, Carolyn and Burl Campbell and Robert and Susan Daniel.
