The funeral of Mrs. Phoebe Jane Wilber was held at her home Monday, Feb. 22, with the Rev. A. J. Schloop officiating. Mrs. Wilber was a lifelong resident of this place and vicinity and was 92 years of age. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Stevens and was three times married. Her first husband was Milo Auchampaugh. Her second husband was Ira Auchampaugh, by whom she had three children, Ira Auchampaugh, E. Lee Auchampaugh and Edna Auchampaugh. Her third husband was Kirby Wilber of Quaker Street, who died more than twenty years ago. Mrs. Wilber is survived by one son, E. Lee Auchampaugh of Syracuse, and four grandsons, Milo Auchampaugh of Auburn, Ira M. Auchampaugh of Delanson, Philip Auchampaugh of Syracuse, Paul Auchampaugh of Carlisle, and Mrs. Jesse Burhans of Carlisle, a granddaughter and by three great-grandchildren, children of Mr. and Mrs. Ira M. Auchampaugh.
