Wife of John D. McMillan

From March 15, 1918 Altamont Enterprise Newspaper:
Lucy Waldron, wife of John McMillan, died Saturday, March 9, at the Ellis Hospital, Schenectady. Mrs. McMillan was born Jan. 31, 1888, and has lived in the vicinity of Duanesburgh nearly all her life. On Feb. 10, 1908 she was married to John McMillan, by whom she is survived. She leaves father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. George Y. Waldron, of Duanesburgh, R.D. 1, and one sister, Mrs. Frank Shafer, R.D. 4, Delanson. Mrs. McMillan was a member of Duanesburgh Rebekal lodge, No. 410, and of the Reformed church at Giffords.

Mr. and Mrs. McMillan gave up farming this winter and about a month ago moved to Schenectady, where Mr. McMillan was employed with the General Electric Company. They were living at 127 Glenwood Boulevard when on Saturday, after only a few days of illness, Mrs. McMillan was removed to the hospital, where she died.

The funeral took place Wednesday at 10 o'clock at the M.E. church, Delanson. Burial will be in Grove cemetery.
