OBITUARY-Beaver City Times- Nov 20 1941
Elnora Catharine Goosic, daughter of Isaac and Mary Wilkinson was born July 31, 1856 in Sabina, Clinton county, Ohio and departed this life at her home in Beaver City, Nebr., November 10 1941 at the age of 85 years, three months and 10 days.
At the age of three years she moved with her parents to Missouri for a short time, later moving to Henry county, Ill where they lived for four years, From Illinois they moved to Warren Co., Iowa and lived there until coming to Nebr., in 1879.
When 17 years of age in September 17 1873 she was baptized and joined the Baptist church. After coming to Beaver City in 1906 she joined the Methodist church. She was a faithful member and regular attendant as long as her health permitted. Even though failing in health kept her from attending church services, she always was interested in the church.
She was married to J.E. Goosic March 1 1876. To this union was born three children; E.E. Goosic, B.A. Goosic and Etta Menesa Goosic.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Etta Menesa, three sisters and her husband, J.E. Goosic who died March 8, 1927.
