Oliver Girard Dade, Jr., 92, of Pell City, AL passed away on September 24, 2016. Mr. Dade served in the 90th Infantry division "Tough Ombras" Patton's 3rd Army during WWII.
He raised five children and worked as a Mechanic and Aircraft Instrument Repairman on the base for 28 years. He also had an energetic personality.
He is preceded in death by wife, Sylvia "Doob" Dade; parents, Ethel and Oliver Dade, Sr.; and brothers, Robert Dade and John "Chubby" Underwood Dade.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 30, 2016 at 1PM from then Chapel of Lemley Funeral Home with burial following at Marvins Chapel Cemetery.
