Mary Kanyak, 91, of 534 Walnut St., Freeland, and currently a resident of Weatherwood, the Carbon County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, died Wednesday evening at Hazleton-St. Joseph Medical Center. Services will be held today at 9 a.m. from the McNulty Funeral Home, 407 Centre St., Freeland, followed by Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Freeland.
