Mrs. A.C. Sharpe of Shandon Dies
Mrs. Marry Alice Sharpe, 48, died at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at her home, 2500 Dee Street, South Shandon, after an illness of several days.

Mrs. Sharpe had lived here for the past 35 years where she was a member of the Rosewood Baptist Chruch. She is survived by her husband, A.C. Sharpe, seven daughters, Mrs. L.D. Nates, Mrs. A.J. Kind, Jr., Mrs. E. Bass, Mrst.H.C. Jacobs, Miss Margaret Sharpe, Miss Frances Sharpe and Miss Marry Sharpe, all of Columbia; three sons, C.W. Sharpe, A.D. Sharpe and J.Q. Sharpe, all of Columbia; her mother, Mrs. Jimmie Miles; three half-brothers, Charlie Miles, Henry Miles and Hampton Miles, all of Richland County, Twelve greandchildren also survive.


Fumeral services will be conducted at 4o'clock this afternoon from Jackson Creek Baptist Church, assisted by the pastor of Jackson Creek Baptist Church, by the Rev. F.T. Cox, pastor of Rosewood Baptist Church, assisted by the pastor of Jackson Creek Baptist Church, Burial will be in the churchyard.
The funeral party will leave the Thompson Funeral home at 3:15 this afternoon.
Pallbearers will be S.E. Hornsby, K.W. Rabon, Robert Strange, L.T. Huff, J.T. Rose and E.A. Hedgpath.

Honorary pallbearers will be G.E. Hornsby, D.B. Kelly, J.L. Little, D.K. Pratt, W.E. Sloan, J.C. Brooks and J.W. Rabon all members of the board of deacons of Rosewood Baptist Church.

Active pallberers will meet at the Thompson Funeral Home at 3:15 and the honorary pallbearers at the chruch at 4 o'clock.
