Osie Evelyn Morlan, 83, a homemaker, died Feb. 2, 1996, at a local hospital. Private family services are planned. Alternative Funeral and Cremation Service is handling arrangements. Mrs. Morlan was born July 12, 1912, in Clay Center, Kan., to Clarence and Mable (Cozed) Beeson. She was married in Eldorado, Kan., to Harry N. Morlan, who died two years ago. Survivors include two sons, Richard of Omaha, Neb., and Jim of Colorado Springs; two daughters, Betty Mastel of Colorado Springs and Peggy Bostrom of Spokane, Wash.; two brothers, Howard and Albert Beeson, both of Kansas; two sisters, Edith Middleton of Wichita, Kan., and Elsie Duffany of Beloit, Kan.; 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Morlan had been an area resident for 23 years and previously lived in Spokane. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 311 N. Logan Ave., Colorado Springs 80909.
