Funeral services for A M Roberts, 86, were held at the family home on North Avenue, West Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev Shields Webb officiating.
Mr Roberts died at Cumberland Medical Center about 3:30 a.m. Saturday, November 25 after suffering a heart attack 2 days earlier.
Burial will take place at Oak Level, Ala on Wednesday, November 29.
A native of Alabama, Mr Roberts moved his family here about 25 years ago and engaged in the feed and grain business, later running a mill for grinding grains. The passing of Mrs Roberts took place July 17, 1941.
Surviving are 2 sons, Joe Roberts, Oak Level, Ala; Burl R Roberts, West Avenue, North, Crossville; 1 daughter, Mrs John D Laminack, Crossville; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
