Harry Carl Hamilton (1891-1960) was born the 15 Oct 1891 in Robinson, Crawford Co., Ohio under the name Carl H. Heldman the son of Rufus Bert Heldman (1870-1944) and Jennie M. Lightcap (1872-1905). His first marriage was to Lillie Mae Johnson (1894-1988) on September 8, 1912 in Higginsville, Lafayette Co., Missouri. They had two children together before their divorce, Vera and Vernon. His second marriage was to Goldia "Goldie" Mae Worthington (1912-2006) on July 18, 1933 in Boone Co., Arkansas. Harry and Goldie had seven children together between: Harry, Raymond, Sammy, James, Vera, Ernest, and Michael. By the birth of their third child, Harry moved his family to Oklahoma, settling in Okfuskee County and then Creek County. He worked in construction, and towards the end of his life he was a janitor. Harry passed away in Creek County, Oklahoma in 1960 and was buried in Highland Cemetery. His wife, Goldie, followed him in death forty-six years later.
