BRODHEAD — Mrs. Wallace King, 85, Rte. 1, died yesterday at St. Clare Hospital, Monroe. The former Rossie May Brace was born in Decatur Township, Green County, Oct. 26, 1880, the daughter of Edward and Alice Baldwin Brace. She married Wallace King Feb, 17, 1897, at Shirland, Ill. He died in 1951. She was a member of the Albany Methodist Church. Surviving are five sons, Roy Albany, Herman, Monroe, Herbert, Bristol, Ivan and John Brodhead; two daughters, Mrs. George Schindler, Kenosha, and Mrs. Alan Wenziker, Beloit; 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Burial in Shirland Cemetery.
