Peacefully at Bluewater Health on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, Catherine May Moniot passed away at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Ambrose (Slim) Houghton and George Nelson Moniot. Loving mother of a son and three daughters. Cherished grandmother of nine; great-grandmother of six. Dear sister of Dorothy, Toronto. Predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth McCreadie and by her sisters Marion McCreadie, Nettie Sands, Margaret Scott and Anne Smith. Catherine was a longtime member of Laurel Lea St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery.
