Jonathan Hunt Dugger, Sr., aged 66, retired merchant and life-long resident of Stiversville, died at his home this morning at 8:45 o'clock. The son of the late Josiah A. Dugger and Harriet H. Blankenship Dugger, he was born and reared in the Stiversville community and was a member of the Church of Christ at that place. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Kate Dugger, three sons, Leon Dugger, of Dallas, Texas; Marshall Dugger, of Tuscumbia, Ala., and J. H. Dugger, Jr., of Stiversville, and two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Hardison, of Mt. Pleasant, and Mrs. Harriet Evans, of Lynnville. Funeral services will be held at the Stiversville Church of Christ tomorrow afternoon conducted by Elder James Harris, of Lawrenceburg. Pallbearers will be S. E. Dugger, Marcus Dugger, Paul Dugger, Bailey Scott, Frank Seagraves, Wade Richardson, W. A. Dugger, Evan Richardson, Milton Foster and Will Douglas. Burial will be in the new Raimey cemetery at Stiversville. Oakes & Nichols are in charge of arrangements.
