Murphy Wilson Brockman,86,of Star City,died Monday December 11,2006,at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.He was born December 12,1919,in Lincoln County,to the late E.G. and Lee Edmonds Brockman.He was a retired farmer.He was a Baptist.Also preceding him in death was his wife,Willie Fount Vick Brockman;one daughter,Mary Lee Smith;and one brother,Zane Brockman.Survivors include one son,Kenneth Brockman of Star City;one daughter,Linda Floyd of Star City;one brother,Grover Brockman of Star City;two sisters,Rebecca Hendrickson of Conway and Virginia Brockman Adcox of Star City;9 grandchildren;and 16 great-grandchildren.Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on thursday,December 14,2006,at Griffin Funeral Service chapel in Star City.Bro.Stephen Beavers will officiate.Burial is in O'Neal cemetery.Visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00p.m.today at the funeral home.Arrangements are by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
