Wilma Rose (Brugh) Jones, age 88 years, went to her heavenly home on Friday, September 16, 2016 at her home in Washington, Kansas. She was born January 4, 1928, to Mable Maye Triplett and Ralph Waldo Brugh. Wilma attended grade school at Carter Country School and Alma schools, graduating from Alma High School in 1945. She then entered Mary Lanning School of Nursing in 1948 and graduated as an Army Cadet Registered Nurse. After a long career in nursing, she retired in 1987.

Wilma was married to Billy J. Jones of Alma and to this union were born three children: Betty Jones Hoosier, Valerie Jones Frager and Billy Morton Jones. She and the children traveled to many states and outside the United States, to be with Bill in the pipeline industry.

Wilma loved to travel and enjoyed the historic sites and was a very patriotic American.

She is survived by her two daughters and son: Betty Hoosier and her husband, Dale of Lincoln, Nebraska, Valerie Frager and her husband, Steve of Lincoln and Billy Jones and Judy Bergantino of Tallahassee, Florida; four grandchildren: Stephanie Zillig and her husband, Eric, Nick Frager and his wife, Rachel, Sabre Zikmund and Jillian Tomes; and was very blessed to have six greatgrandchildren.
