Nathan Crago is the common ancestor of many Indiana and Iowa Crago's (and a few Craigo's). His parents are not currently known with any certainty, but it has been widely reported that he grew up in the home of Robert Craigo, when he still lived in Pennsylvania.
It appears, based on DNA studies, that Nathan may have been a step-son of Robert Craigo/Crago. Nathan's DNA profile is now known. I tend to believe that Robert may have married a Revolutionary War widow and that Nathan adopted the Crago name after his mother married Robert Craigo/Crago, who was born in 1757.
Nathan was father to nine children. Not shown below are Cynthia and an unknown child born about 1807.
